Soulful Meditations



Soulful Meditation is a simple way to reach enlightenment. Meditating is an important step in discovering your own individual wisdom. It creates a personal spiritual awareness that cannot be duplicated and crucial for self-empowerment.

Soulful Meditation begins with a visualization of the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is a universal symbol found in every culture and means the same, infinite abundance and harmony. Meditating on the Tree of Life automatically connects us to that infinite universal power.

Start by imagining your body becoming a tree. Close your eyes and take four, slow, deep breaths. Visualize your legs becoming the tree roots and increase this connection by gripping your toes into the Mother Earth. Picture the roots of your tree to be as long under the ground as you are tall.

Now that you’re grounded, imagine your body’s mid-section as the tree trunk. Feel your energy rising up through the chest and up to your head. Allow your tree top to branch up towards the nurturing Father sky.  Feel His energy rain down upon your head and bring it down to your toes.

Breathe in deep and become the Tree of Life. Absorb in its connection to the universe and allow yourself to rest within its safety. Let your mind drift into your heart and let your ego go. Simply breathe and be aware of your breath.

When a thought or image appears, don’t hold onto it but rather let it flow through you. I set a timer so that I don’t have to worry about going off into the cosmos. When the bell rings, I wake up and write down anything that has stuck in my mind. This usually triggers other perceptions and it’s that realization that creates my own meditative message.
